A Safer Swing for Every Shot: Our Role in Peoria’s Golf Learning Center Revamp
This isn’t your grandpa’s driving range.
That’s the tagline for Peoria’s brand new Golf Learning Center — a fully reimagined facility on North Radnor Road, complete with 21 electronically tracked golf bays, new simulators, and a connected restaurant that make it a year‑round destination for golfers and families alike.

When the GLC team set out to modernize the range, safety was a top priority. With bays packed side by side and guests swinging freely, they needed durable, reliable safety catch nets to keep players protected and equipment contained. That’s where our team came in.
We provided and secured custom‑fitted golf bay safety netting for all 21 stations, ensuring a clean look that blends seamlessly with the facility’s design while meeting the performance standards needed for regular use in an open, high‑traffic environment. Our project scope included:
- Supplying premium fall-safety rated netting built for all walks of life.
- Designing secure anchoring systems for each bay’s safety nets.
- Coordinating installation to align with the GLC’s tight construction timeline.
The result? A safe, visually cohesive setup that enhances both the player experience and operational safety — all while maintaining unobstructed sightlines across the range.
With the support of a $4 million state capital investment, the Golf Learning Center is already becoming a central hub for recreation in Peoria. As General Manager Marley Hall shared, “We’re excited to bring something fresh to Central Illinois — an experience that encourages everyone to pick up a club and have fun.”
We’re proud to have played a part in bringing that vision to life — one swing, one net, and one bay at a time.
